Copyright and Licensing Policies

The Journal of Nutritional Research & Dietetics (JNRD) adheres to internationally recognized principles for open access publishing, copyright management, and licensing. This policy ensures that all published content is freely accessible while safeguarding the intellectual property rights of authors.

1. Originality and Copyright Policy

JNRD requires that all submitted manuscripts be original works that have not been published elsewhere, in whole or in part. By submitting their work, authors confirm that their manuscript is free from plagiarism and does not infringe upon the rights of third parties.

Upon acceptance, authors retain full copyright of their work while granting JNRD a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the content. This enables the journal to disseminate research globally while ensuring that authors maintain ownership of their intellectual property.

2. Licensing Terms

All content published by JNRD is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

Under this license, users are permitted to share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal, a link to the license is included, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

3. Open Access Policy

JNRD operates in accordance with internationally recognized open access principles, including the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access. All articles published in the journal are freely accessible without subscription or paywall barriers. This ensures the widest possible dissemination of research and promotes global academic collaboration.

4. No Article Processing Charges (APC)

JNRD follows a Diamond Open Access model. The journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC), submission fees, or publication fees. All publication-related costs are covered by the publisher. This model eliminates financial barriers for both authors and readers.

5. Archiving and Preservation

JNRD ensures long-term digital preservation of its published content through secure server backups and institutional archiving systems. Upon ISSN registration, journal content will also be deposited in appropriate national and international archiving systems to support permanent accessibility.
